How to brighten a yellowed toilet seat: 3 very simple tricks

Although the toilet seat and lid are very white from the factory, over time they begin to take on a yellowish color, especially if we do not use strong bleach when cleaning.

Below we recommend three home tricks with which you can effectively remove yellowish stains from the toilet seat in the shortest possible time.

Make-up with toothpaste and bicarbonate
Mix 4 tablespoons of baking soda with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of white toothpaste. Continue mixing until you get a homogeneous mixture.

Apply the mixture to the surface of the toilet seat and scrub well with a sponge. Leave on for 10 minutes.

Finally, remove any remaining mass with a damp cloth and clean the surface of the toilet seat thoroughly.
