White vinegar is a great ally for household cleaning: in addition to the disinfectant effect, it also has whitening properties that are very suitable for cleaning the toilet seat.
Mix 2 tablespoons of baking soda with 140 ml of white vinegar. Use this solution to clean the toilet seat with a sponge.
Leave it on for a few minutes, then remove everything with a clean cloth and dry well.
Makeup with bleach
If the tricks described above do not bring satisfactory results, we will only have to resort to an effective product such as bleach.
If the toilet seat is made of plastic and can be easily removed, it is best to remove it and place it in a bucket or bathtub in a solution of bleach and water. Let it soak for a few minutes, then rinse and dry well.
If it cannot be removed, apply the bleach and water mixture directly to the surface. After a few minutes, scrub thoroughly with a sponge and rinse with a clean cloth. Remember to wear gloves and a mask.
