What is kefir and why it should be consumed every day

Milk kefir is rich in beneficial bacteria, calcium, protein and vitamin B12. One of the advantages of this drink is that it contains little lactose, which is transformed into lactic acid and prevents intolerances. Additionally, kefir grains contain approximately 400 million microorganisms per gram, more than half of which are Lactobacillus bacteria.

Kefir helps to regenerate the intestinal flora and is useful against indigestion, candidiasis, constipation and diarrhea, but also to stimulate the body’s defenses.
