So good! The kids love these so much that we often need to not double, but triple this recipe. Yup, not a typo

1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup diced onion
2 cloves of garlic, minced
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
1/2 tablespoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
Optional: Dash of cinnamon
6 slices of frozen garlic Texas toast
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions:
Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
Add diced onion and minced garlic to the beef. Sauté until the onion becomes translucent.
Mix in the tomato sauce, tomato paste, chili powder, cumin, and a dash of cinnamon (if desired). Let it simmer for 5-7 minutes.
Bake the garlic Texas toast as per the package instructions.
Place a generous portion of the sloppy joe mixture on each slice of toasted garlic bread.
Top with shredded cheddar cheese. The warmth of the mixture should melt the cheese, or you can broil it briefly for a bubbly, golden finish.
Serve these Open Faced Cheesy Sloppy Joes on Garlic Bread hot, and relish in the delightful blend of flavors and textures. This recipe is perfect for those craving a comforting, indulgent meal that’s both easy to prepare and deeply satisfying.
