SNOWBALL COOKIES

Step 1

Prepare a temperature in your oven of 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius). A baking sheet should be prepared with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a large bowl, cream together the butter that has been softened and the powdered sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy. Stir in the essence of vanilla bean.

Step 3

In a separate dish, combine the all-purpose flour and the salt by whisking them together. Add the combination of dry ingredients to the mixture of butter in a slow and steady stream. Continue to combine until the dough can hold its shape. Mix in the finely chopped nuts in a gentle manner. Your cookies are going to have a delightfully satisfying crunch thanks to this.

Step 4

Form a tiny ball by rolling a little of the dough, approximately the size of a tablespoon, between your hands. Repeat the process until all of the dough has been consumed. Put the balls on the baking sheet that has been prepared, being sure to leave some room between each one.

Step 5

Bake the cookies in an oven that has been warmed for around ten to twelve minutes, or until the bottoms of the cookies begin to become a very light golden color. Be careful not to overcook the food.

Step 6

Please let the cookies a few minutes to cool down on the baking sheet they were baked on. Roll each cookie in powdered sugar while they are still warm until it is completely covered in the sugar. You may do this by pouring some powdered sugar into a dish with a shallow rim and then gently rolling the cookies in the sugar until they are coated.

Step 7

After the cookies have had enough time to reach room temperature, give them one more coating of powdered sugar to get the snowball effect.

Your snowball cookies are now ready to be enjoyed! These cookies have a delicate and crumbly texture, with a rich buttery flavor complemented by the sweetness of the powdered sugar. They are perfect for gifting, sharing, or savoring all by yourself with a cup of hot cocoa or your favorite winter beverage.
