Saw this at a party. It was so innovative, I had to ask for the recipe

Peachy Filling

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the frozen peach slices, 1/2 cup of brown sugar, unsalted butter, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  2. Allow the mixture to simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally for approximately 10 minutes. The peaches should become soft and emit a delightful aroma.

Thickening the Mixture

  1. Dissolve the cornstarch in a small amount of water to create a smooth paste.
  2. Gradually add the cornstarch mixture to the simmering peach mixture, stirring continuously. This will result in a lusciously thick peach filling.

Creamy Donut Bath

  1. In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy whipping cream, Carnation evaporated milk, eggs, and the remaining 1/4 cup of brown sugar.
  2. Cut the Krispy Kreme donuts into bite-sized pieces and immerse them in the creamy mixture. Allow them to soak and absorb the goodness for about 5 minutes.

Layering the Dessert

  1. Grease a 9×13 baking dish and evenly spread the peach mixture at the bottom.
  2. Gently place the soaked Krispy Kreme donut pieces on top, ensuring even distribution.
  3. For added texture, you can dot the cobbler’s top with extra peach slices if desired.

Bake to Perfection

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the baking dish into the oven and bake for approximately 20 minutes.
  3. You’ll know the cobbler is done when a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

FAQs

Can I use fresh peaches instead of frozen ones? Absolutely! Fresh peaches can be a wonderful alternative, just make sure to peel and slice them before using.
